Intelligent Water Quality Monitoring System
Source Sentinel provides Intelligent Water Quality monitoring systems that include continuous real-time monitoring of various water parameters at a remote site(s). Any system provided by Source Sentinel will display continuous (24/7) near real-time data of all parameters measured by the system. The system will integrate all measured data in a repository database at a location determined by the client. This will allow for reports to be generated for current and historical system information. The Intelligent Water Quality monitoring system can be integrated into any current system.

Basic General Water Quality Platform
Source Sentinel can measure water quality parameters consisting of temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, ORP, turbidity, and chlorophyll. The system will report current data values and will be viewable through a “drill down” menu available locally. Source Sentinel can also report as a color-coded alert for any sensor value(s) that are out of normal range.
Organic Compound Monitoring Platform
Source Sentinel can measure either/or Total Organic Carbon, (TOC) or TC, (Total Carbon) from the water matrixes and continuously display the information. By measuring the TOC or TC, Source Sentinel will be able to offer a general indication of an increase in organic compounds. The TOC analyzer is a combustion system with an acid wash, which can also determine IC (Inorganic Carbon). The TC analyzer is a correlated UV-254 method that is more maintenance friendly and robust, but not an EPA approved method.
Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Monitoring Platform (VOC-Trac™)
VOC-Trac™ is a sensor for remote locations that detects and measures VOCs in water/wastewater. Near real-time (NRT) detection at remote locations makes it possible to alert operators of potential problems caused by VOC contaminants. Gas-Chromograph/Mass-Spectometry equipment, custom analysis methods, and database searching technology can reliably detect and quantify thousands of VOCs at multiple unattended locations. Source Sentinel has advanced the technology for detecting and measuring VOCs in raw and processed water/wastewater by automating the collection of VOC sensor information and managing the data in an integrated Source Sentinel system.

BioChip Sensor (under development) - Detection for specific biological contaminant alerting
BioChip Sensor chips are being developed that incorporate the sensing medium, processing ,and alerting technology in one standalone package. If needed, these silicon chips have the biologic antibodies contaminant attachment for sensing purposes. If the specific contaminant is detected, a signal is generated and sent to the proper reporting device. These chips are interchangeable and can be put in multiple series, which still uses one common reporting processor. There is a control logic to control the fluidics which create better control of false positives/negatives. Detection limits vary based on the specific biologic.
ChemChip (under development) - Detection for specific organic/inorganic alerting
The ChemChip is being developed to incorporate the sensing medium, processing, and alerting technology in one standalone package. The silicon chips contain a chemical affinity target attached to the chip.
